Oh Scraggly Tom, Your Days Are Numbered!

I've been training the Tomcat, Tom, to eat out of a carrying case, in anticipation of the trap to be delivered any day now. Once that gets here and we have a vet date, oh yes, his days are numbered. His hormones will be changed and he'll be sweet, loving and cuddly, just like my little eunuch boys. No more terrorizing my little guys, no more scratching me viciously just because I'm trying to feed him. Yes, he'll be my sweet angel. Hmmmm, probably not. He'll probably abandon me just like Dude did. Now didn't I say I wasn't going to mention him again? I just had to. My dad is mad at me for wasting any time on him. Oh well. It's not like there's a ton of options in Charlotte, NC for us over, well, I won't mention over which decade, even though I'm still a hot tamale, or a hot matzo ball at least. Surely someone will recognize that fact some day. Surely.

In the meantime, life goes on. People put religious symbols on their gas tanks (see photo of psychedelic fish on car). What is the symbolism of that? Anyone have an answer? Mom, Emily, Donald? Oh yes. We have a new reader! Emily and Mom - say hi to Donald. Emily of course knows Donald. He is one of Paul's, the wedding boy from last blog, good friends and fraternity brother. Donald took good care of me at the wedding and made up for Dude not showing up and not responding to my phone calls. I knew I was going to have a good time no matter what, but Donald made sure to dance with me and keep my spirits up. Three glasses of wine, my absolute limit, didn't hurt either.

I can't sign off without mentioning that my car temperature gauge read 111 degrees today! 111!!! I guess it wasn't really that hot, but it was up in the 100's. And we ended up doing a Realtor's luncheon in a house that was newly constructed and didn't have the air conditioning signed off on yet, so there was NO air. I must say the house was gorgeous, even in that swelter.

To all my readers (Mom, Emily and Donald), please spread the message of love and peace in your every day conduct. I will try and do the same.
