Okay, so it's been awhile
So, it's been awhile since I've written. Here's the good news - I think I met someone, age appropriate and everything. It's only been a week so I'm trying not to get too excited but for those of you who are doing the Secret, hmmmm, it might just work.... That's all I'm saying. And ironically, who introduced us? Why Emily, my loyal blog reader (along with Mom, of course). Now if I could just get her to call me....
And I almost burnt the house down, again. I always put thin, flat bread in the toaster oven, walk away and five minutes later come back to smoke and flames pouring out of the toaster oven. Maybe this time I've learned my lesson? Maybe? Keep your fingers crossed.
Photos - Live at Five in Uptown. Tons of people come out for this. Nice diverse crowd doing the electric slide. I'm not big on crowds, but it was still fun. Check out the two Bluetick Coon Hounds that I met that evening. Of course, my heart belongs to Miles, Terry's baby boy Bluetick.
I also went to Mix at Six in Ballantyne. That's the photo of people lounging in sofas and the woman singing to the three little girls. That wasn't as much fun as Live at Five. I think that was more of a couples outing. Wouldn't it be great if I could actually start going to events as a couple? I'm putting it out there in the universe. It's about time!
Summer's almost here. The humidity is rising, clothing is getting skimpier. I think work is picking up too. (Sorry for the segue, don’t know why I went from summer to work…) I'm trying fairly hard but the cold calling sucks. I'm working on getting other people to refer me and get me in front of business owners and then just sharing the profit. I really believe that financial incentives are the best way to motivate business connections.
To all my readers (Mom and Emily), please spread the message of love and peace in your every day conduct. I will try and do the same.

Sure, sure, everyone I know is turning into couples with everyone else I know, and I continue to date my second job every Friday and Saturday night. If I didn't think Oprah was so obnoxious, I'd probably be more willing to look into this secret malarky.
Terminal in every sense of the word - Emily
