Bummer

Emily threw herself a surprise birthday party last night, as in she invited people to Graduate on 51 but didn't tell them it was her birthday. Luckily I still had a gift that I hadn't given her left over from my trip to Israel in OCTOBER 2006, so you can see how extremely close our friendship is! Anyway, that's Emily with a bottle of root beer (right) and her good friends AnnMarie and Brad.
I was happy to find that pork is still popular in the South, and oh so affordable. I'm glad some traditions still live on.
And last but not least, a photo of Ebony and Officer Gilmore walking down the red carpet at the Merchandise Mart's Vendor show. What fun was that running into other Pre-Paid Legal Associates, all of us trying to get to business owners. It's a cutthroat business, I tell you. Anyway, it's all good. Last man standing kind of thing. (Can you tell I'm having a weird week?)
My social life is totally bust, but thank God for girl friends having surprise birthday parties for themselves, otherwise I'd be sitting at home watching American Idol, which kind of sucks this year, don't you agree?
To all my readers, please spread the message of love and peace in your every day conduct. I will try and do the same.

Root beer is delicious! It was awesome to see you and your chestnut tresses. I need to find some more free time so we can hang. You've been up to way more interesting stuff than I.
