Beautiful Charlotte

It's raining today, but over the last few days we've had temperatures in the 80's. I had a networking lunch in Lake Norman and when we were done I told some of the locals to point me toward the water. There was no way I was leaving without putting my toes in Lake Norman (hence weird photo with my toe in the Lake!). The photo of the falcon in the tree was actually taken at a business park. I came out of an office building and saw this huge tree that had fallen into the parking lot. When I went over to examine it I realized that there was a stream running behind a residential area into the parking area and when I looked up into the trees two falcons (I think that's what they were) were swooping around. I was only able to take one shot, so it's not great, but I had to share. It was one of those magical Charlotte moments where you're standing in a metropolis but you're surrounded by rustic beauty at the same time.

So, the magazine is defunct but life is still good. I'm making headway with the identity theft product. My family arrives at the end of March so that should be fun and stress-free (ha, ha). I still count my blessings EVERY day.
