A Cat-tasrophe

Okay, dog lovers, you can stop reading. This is going to be all about cats. The tom cat (Tom) was back with a vengeance. He staked out the front porch and mercilessly teased Sam. And of course I'm feeding him and trying to get him to come to me. All the while he kept terrorizing my cats when they were outside. He chased little Timmy up a tree and I thought I'd never get him down. Luckily, Tim figured out how to make it down. The cats got over it but I was pretty traumatized by the whole episode.

Check out the photo of Timmy cuddling with Sam. It cracks me up. He grew so much over the past month. He used to be able to curl right up with Sam, but now he's falling off the cushion. And the good news is that he's becoming more of a human cuddler, so I'm a happy cat mommy.

My social life is finally picking up and I actually did it through human contact and not internet dating. I'm very proud of myself. Things aren't looking as bleak as they did a few weeks ago. And for some reason, 32 & 35 year olds like well preserved 50 year olds. A mystery to me, but I’m accepting all offers. (Not really, that was supposed to be a joke.)

Kisses to my new friend JR. Well I guess that's not such an oblique note to him, following right after the other paragraph. Oh well. I was trying to be discrete.

I am so hungry. My friend and I are trying not to eat after 7:30 pm. It sucks!!!! And I’m not really hungry. I’m just another overfed, self-indulgent American, sitting at home, blogging away.

***********

Never give up hope. Never.

Uhm. Now I know where all the men my age are - they're dating you! Yeesh. Well, I'm of the mindset right now that you can have them. Hey, I went to see Pagliaccio last night, and the woman playing Nedda totally reminded me of you!
